How can we improve RE.minder?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

    Hi there,

    Any faint chance if having Re.minder’s badges indicate current number of upcoming events BESIDES the option of it indicating overdue events?

  3. More repeat options

    Options for n day of week
    Example every 1st Monday of the month

    Options for nth weekday of month/nth month
    Example 3rd weekday of every month
    2nd weekday of every 3rd month

    Define:
    Weekday as M - F
    weekend day as Sat and Sun

    It is definitely something that we’d like to support but it will have to wait until we’ve updated the app for the newer system APIs for user notifications, added iCloud sync support, and added more “bug me” options.

  7. Ability to re set same reminder on specific periods of time

    I would like to know if you can add at the existing functions the possibility to set again an expired reminder to buzz next month on the same date and next year at the same date that i have already set. I think this would be a great addon. For example i have to pay a bill at 21 of each month , currenty your app doesnt give me the chance to reschedule it easy for next month, or year using same date .

  8. More Bug me options

    Need to have a 15/30 minute bug me option. 1 minute is too short and 1 hour is too long for some things.

  9. Voice reminder

    Please Make the option to make a voice reminder, just the same way the reminders are made now.
    You'll get in, and where you write the reminder you'll have a mic button too.
    The reminder will notify you in time and you'll get in and hear the voice note.

  10. Bug with repeated reminders and time zone changes

    This app needs to support changes in time zone as well as "daylight savings" time changes. This has been an issue for quite some time now.

    In the future updates, please add category feature where we are able to categorize our reminders (example: work, personal, etc). At the same time, there's an option to see all the times besides the per category view.

  12. Color changes

    Awesome app! :)

    Am I overlooking an area to change the colors of the boxes (reminders) themselves outside of the color scheme and icon color change? If not currently, are there any plans in the near future? Or, will additional color schemes be added? Thanks you!

    I’m sorry to report that there’s no way to customize color schemes at the moment. We plan to add more color schemes in the future though. Let us know any ideas you have for color schemes.

  13. Default time setting

    I set a lot of reminders that have no specific time of the day that I want to be reminded. I usually set it for 10am. If the time wheels would be able to be set for a specific default time, then if I wanted to set it for a different time, I would just adjust the wheels. Having to change the time every time I use it is just an extra step that can be avoided.

    I would like an option to have the reminder go off on specific days of the week. Also, a time limit each day. For example, not go off during the hours of 9pm to 7am

    Why can't the icons hold onto the name assigned to them like a paperclip could be newspapers gas pump handle it would be gas for your car

  19. Eigene Töne, bzw. eigene Musiktitel

    Hallo,

    Im Austausch mit Freunden kam immer wieder die Information, dass die Möglichkeit eigene Musiktitel oder Töne mit einzubinden gesucht wird.

    Ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass diese "Kleinigkeit" doch große Auswirkung haben kann. Selber würde ich diese Möglichkeit natürlich auch nutzen wollen. Denn die angebotenen Töne sind zwar o.k., allerdings überhaupt nicht mein Fall.
