It is definitely something that we’d like to support but it will have to wait until we’ve updated the app for the newer system APIs for user notifications, added iCloud sync support, and added more “bug me” options.

I love the idea of linking RE:minders! The repeat option is great, but if we were able to edit what the next repeat says when we create it, so for a one off RE:minder it would be as it is now, but if we tap to Repeat, it would come up with e.g.:
REM1: Put washing in the machine,
REM2: Check on washing/put in the dryer,
REM3: Check clothes are dry.Even a 4th one maybe that repeats REM3 if it needs longer and so you snooze it. I know everyone’s got timers ⏲ on their appliances like ovens (and smartphones obviously) but, if you don’t hear it, you’ll end up with baby clothes or burnt ‘tatoes. There is also the electric/gas cost, especially these days! My Mum would need that, she’s a bit deaf and with the kitchen door shut and the TV loud, she either doesn’t hear the timer (she wouldn’t hear Big Ben 🔔! 🤪) and, sometimes, even if she hears it, she occasionally forgets what the timer was for! She’s got a little handheld timer just like this>⏲<right next to her but she hardly ever hears that for a minute or so! A vibrating phone with a RE:minder alert would be excellent for her and anyone who forgets easily (that’s what 40% of my RE:minders are for! With my memory, though, by the time I open the app I’ve forgotten what I wanted to remind myself of in the first place!). Sorry for rambling on! Just imagine if I’d written✍🏼it out, I would have probably RAMBLED ON FOR 18 PAGES: FRONT AND BACK! (You’ll know the inference, if you know 😉). I need to learn coding! I’d love to know how long making the above changes would take! Many thanks 🙏🏽 xx

An error occurred while saving the comment dawn3943 commentedMaybe an option to record our own, then it’s user specific so you wouldn’t have to create an alert?
An error occurred while saving the comment dawn3943 commentedSome alerts that are ONLY in RE:minder. I’m sure I’m not the only one who has alerts all over the shop so a specific ’can only be RE:minder’ alert would be great!

To Anonymous. You’ve probably discovered this by now, as your comment was a couple of few years ago. On iPhone, you can now (probably always could!), schedule a summary of your notifications (in settings), for certain times of the day, I’ve been trialling it but I’ve found that the sounds don’t seem to go off when the summary pops up, but that could just be me! I’ve gone back to the individual RE:minders.
